We ate here twice while we were in Portugal and loved it! Once with a reservation and 50 Euro deposit, and another time walk-in. We walked in around 6 and there was no wait. We ordered tiger prawns (6-7 Euro per prawn depending on weight) and giant tiger prawns (15-20 Euro per prawn depending on weight). Bread was also very good, so were the clams and the cheese. We couldn't go wrong with anything!

This place is EXCELLENT!!!! Food was definitely worth the wait. I think I would have the lobster the next time I go back. Also there is a lime sorbet drink with vodka that was soooo good, if you don't pay attention to the alcohol that they add you can be drunk after about 2 of them because it mixes soooo well with the sorbet that you don't taste it and my waiter gave me a heavy pour(done tableside). Between the beer, bottle of wine, the vodka sorbet and the food paid way less than if I got the same in Chicago.

Revisited this restaurant 10 years later, still as amazing as it used to be! They are super crowded, but they managed to maintain such great service. It was amazing! Scarlet shrimp is a must try, and their 'desert' steak sandwich was the best finale as always!

High hopes given the glowing reviews, and they did not dissappoint! Reservation is a must, the place was packed throughout. Despite that the staff were friendly and great, interacting with every table in such a positive manner it really added to the meal! Food wise, could not complain at all, everything was outstandingly fresh. Simply prepared, but that allowed the natural flavours to really shine! Special mention for the gooseneck barnacles, the giant scarlet shrimp and the spiny crab!

Ramiro is in my personal opinion the best seafood spot in Lisbon. Fresh, simple, and packed with flavor, that set my standards truly high. The shrimps on garlic sauce and bread with butter are must-haves, but the oysters and Al Ajillo steal the show. Be prepared for a wait in the line, but it’s worth it. If you’re after top-notch seafood, Ramiro is unbeatable.

Waiting time is very long! Do come early! Once you are seated the service is quick and efficient! They have 4 seating sections depending on how many people in your group. They have a small lounge area with a small bar for customers to enjoy as they wait. We ordered bread with butter, caviar, oysters, grilled giant shrimp, razor clams, and ham. All were absolutely amazing! This place is an absolute must!

Awesome food and experience for our first night in Lisboa. Our waiter was fabulous and so helpful as we did not speak Portuguese. Wines were good and reasonable - a perfect pairing with the wonderful seafood.

Our tour guide for the day and an Uber driver suggested Ramiro as the best seafood restaurant in Lisbon. The restaurant did not disappoint us. The restaurant has a large seating capacity. We were a group of six, arrived at restaurant around 7:35 pm and waited around an hour. While waiting we drank from the self dispensing Sagres beer station. Antonio, our server was pleasantly helpful with us. The bread and butter was great. We ordered Pata Negra and cheese appetizers. As entrees we order one Centolla crab, Gambas al Ajillo and Clams. All the food served was excellent. When visiting Lisbon and like seafood, Ramiro is a visit you should add to your list.

If you plan on having dinner here you'll need a reservation or wait for hours for a table to open up; The other option is to just come early and just walk in. I came at 6 and just walked in no problem. I think if you come for lunch it might be the same, but if you want to go for dinner 7pm or later a reservation is an absolute must or be prepared to wait hours. (the website at the time was not correct, just google the restaurant for access to their reservations) We got the Scarlet prawns, tiger shrimp, garlic shrimp and edible crab. We ask if they had razor clams but they were out. There was buttered bread on the table, they charge a little over 3€, so if you don't want it ask them to take it away. You can order plain bread for cheaper and butter if you want, but I think if you order the garlic shrimp you can just use that as your butter, it was delicious we kept the butter to dip the bread in even after we ate all the shrimp. The star of the evening was the Scarlet prawns, they were huge, and grilled whole, be sure to suck the juice out of the head, it tasted like lobster. They were very thick and meaty. The tiger shrimp were also good, they were split in half and grilled with butter. They were perfectly cooked. The cold edible crab, you can order them deshelled so that all the work is done for you or in the shell which is a little cheaper, the major parts are cracked but the shell is very thick and they give you plastic mallets so you'll have to hit them very hard and shells will go flying. It was good and fun hammering them. The top shell of the crab also comes with a crab dip which you can use with the bread. We were told to try the Prego, a steak sandwich for dessert, which is what they did on Anthony Bourdain; but we were so full that we didn't have room for it. It was the most pricy meal on my Portugal trip, but it was all seafood so it was expected. Overall a very fresh and delicious seafood meal. All my Anthony Bourdain meals in portugal were a big hit. Be sure to make a reservation or just come anytime before 6, when we left there was a long wait at the bar area.
